Special features: The basic philosophy is called “unschooling,” and I see myself as the facilitator of children’s learning, not the director. I provide the space, resources, and support the children need. They provide the direction. A kitchen and doll house are available for pretend play. Puzzles, spelling toys, playdoh and craft supplies are also easily accessible. When the children wish to dance and sing, we have kids’ music, as well as a selection of musical instruments.
