preschool teachers have Doctoral and Masters degrees and university
teacher training. Over 20 years experience in education.
Application deadline: December 1, 2007 for Spring 2008
semester and April 1, 2008 for Fall 2008 semester. Priority offered to currently
enrolled students and siblings. We strive to keep teacher/student
ratio low: early registration is highly recommended.
Application fee: $15, non-refundable
School starts: We run on a semester basis from August–December
and January–May.
School runs: 8:45 AM - 12:40 PM
Class size: Approximately 10-12 children of mixed ages. Children
are separated into two groups for age-appropriate activities and then brought together for playtime,
lunch and snack.

Boy/girl quota: No
How toilet-trained do children need
to be? Prefer children toilet-trained, but we will work with
children who are toilet training.
Parental participation required:
The school is not a cooperative. It is a 501(c)(3) non-profit educational
organization. Parental contributions in various ways are encouraged
but not mandatory.
Special features: A professional
preschool program offering Mandarin Chinese immersion opportunities
for young children. As the only preschool in the Triangle area offering
morning Mandarin immersion classes, our native Mandarin language-speaking
teachers, each with advanced degrees (BA, MA, PhD), strive to develop
a solid language and cultural foundation in each of our students. Exposure to
a second language stimulates students' overall intellectual development while
providing a unique appreciation for the cultures in the world around them.
