Boy/girl quota: No. However, we do try to balance each classroom by gender and age.
How toilet-trained do children need to be? Children need to be fully toilet-trained prior to beginning school.
Parental participation required: Yes, we ask parents to volunteer a minimum of 5 hours per semester. Parents are also responsible for restocking the food pantry two weeks per year.
Special features: We have large outdoor spaces with a playground and opportunities to interact with nature and both locations are conveniently located between Chapel Hill/Carrboro and Pittsboro.
