School runs: 9:00 a.m.-12:00 noon. Optional lunch bunch 12:00 p.m. – 12:55 p.m.
Class size: Play Pals 8; Toddler Time 8; Early Preschool 10-12; PreKindergarten 12-14.
Student: teacher ratio: Play Pals and Toddler Time 4:1; Early Preschool: 5-6:1; PreKindergarten 6-7:1.
Boy/girl quota: No, but we strive for gender-balanced groupings.
How toilet-trained do children need to be? Not. We support each child and family as they go through this process.
Parental participation required: We are an independent non-profit run by a preschool board comprised largely of parents. We have a strong parent community and parents volunteer in the classroom, at weekly Kabbalat Shabbat, and in a variety of support activities; however, parental participation is not required.
Special features: Jewish curriculum, music, art, Israeli dance, Tumblebus, developmentally appropriate thematic units and mix of structured and unstructured time.
