President’s Note – June 2014

Hi Moms and Dads!

Are you ready for a long hot summer?  It is already steamy out there so make sure you keep yourselves and your kids cool this summer by visiting our wonderful local pools and beaches. Lots of suggestions have been posted on the Facebook page lately about which beaches are the best, but if you have your own recommendations to share, please do so!

I’d love to see the Facebook page become a place where you post interesting kid friendly events.  Maybe we can even have some spontaneous meet-ups and play dates this summer?

And speaking of great outdoor events, look for our upcoming hiking and kayaking events.  They are sure to be a great way to connect with other local families in the great outdoors!

Lastly, we have some open positions on the board.  If you are interested in helping out, please email me at president@chapelhillmothersclub.org  No experience is necessary and you can do it even if you are a brand new member.
