School runs:
Transitional Kindergarten: 8:30 – 2:30
Kindergarten through Fifth Grade: 8:30 to 3:00
Sixth Grade through Eight Grade: 8:15 to 3:15
TDS’s optional afterschool program runs until 6PM.
Class size: We cap all elementary classes at 18 students, but generally have a smaller T-K class.
Student:teacher ratio: T-K: 1:9; K: 1:9
Boy/girl quota: None, although we attempt to achieve a gender balance in each class.
How toilet-trained do children need to be? All students must be toilet-trained prior to entry.
Parental participation required: Parent involvement is encouraged but not required.
Special features: T-K and Kindergartners enjoy the following “complement” classes each week: Art,
Music, Spanish, Physical Education, Science Lab and Character Education.
