How toilet-trained do children need
to be? Age-appropriate; no requirements (4-year-olds who are
not trained, a rarity, need parent to come to class to change diapers)
Parental participation required:
Partial parent cooperative—parents come into classroom 5 to 6
times/year. They do no "teaching." Scheduled at beginning of school
year. Also, each set of parents must participate in 12 hours of
work per year per child for the Preschool, outside of the classroom
hours. Chores include playground workdays, curriculum morning, parent
work nights, take-home tasks from teachers, fundraising efforts,
etc.
