Accreditation: Our Lead Teachers are certified by the American Montessori Society.

Application deadline: Ongoing. Application process begins in February for the upcoming school year.

Application fee: non-refundable $75 application fee, $350 one-time, non-refundable joining fee upon acceptance.

School runs: 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

Student:teacher ratio: 11:1 or less.

Boy/girl quota: No. However, we do try to balance each clasroom by gender and age.

How toilet-trained do children need to be? Children need to be fully toilet-trained prior to beginning school.

Parental participation required: Yes, we ask parents to volunteer a minimum of 5 hours per semester. Parents are also responsible for restocking the food pantry two weeks per year.

Special features: We have a large outdoor space with a playground, sandbox and garden. We are conveniently located one mile off of 15/501, between Chapel Hill/Carrboro and Pittsboro.
