Age range: 12 months–5 years

Tuition: 1-year olds: 2 days a week, $2,400/year; 3 days a week, $3,500/year. 2-year-olds: 2 days a week, $2,350; 3 days a week, $3,400 3-year-olds: 3 days a week, $3,200/year; 5 days a week, $5,100. Pre-K: 3 days a week, $3,100/year; 5 days a week, $5,000/year

Scholarships available: We do not have any scholarship money.

Accreditation: We follow National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) guidelines, but are not accredited.

Application deadline: Application deadline for returning students next year will be March 1, 2009. We are still accepting applications for our current year for spaces in our 12–24 month class

Application fee: $36, non-refundable

School starts: Late August

School runs: 9:00 a.m. – noon   Extended Day is from noon – 12:50 p.m.

Class size: 12- to 24-month-olds, 8 children; 2-year-olds, 10 children; 3-year-olds, 14 children; 4+ -year-olds, 15 children

Student:teacher ratio: 12- to 24-month-olds, 4:1; 2-year-olds, 5:1; 3-year-olds, 7:1; 4+ -year-olds, 9:1

Boy/girl quota: No

How toilet-trained do children need to be? Children in the Toddler and Twos classes do not need to be toilet-trained.  Children in the Threes and Pre-K classes should be toilet-trained prior to entry.

Parental participation required: KJP is not a cooperative school. Parent participation is a valuable part of our program. Parents are asked to sign up for one volunteer task per month and attend two parent workdays per year.
