Evening meetings are back in full swing this fall, so mark you calendar and come out for some thought-provoking fun and enticing door prizes. Centered around food, fun, and friends, these events will not disappoint, so spread the word and secure your sitters. Come alone or bring a car load of friends. Hope to see you there!
September:
Say good-bye to the summer heat and hello to your yard and garden. Whether you have a green thumb or not, Dickinson Garden Center's landscape designer, Kathy Harp, will have answers to all of your fall planting questions. Not into flowers and shrubs? Sip on a margarita and catch up with friends. You might even go home with a door prize from Lowe's, Ace Hardware, Trader Joe's, or other Chapel Hill businesses! Food and drink are available for purchase from La Hacienda if you'd like. Chips and salsa are complimentary and the speaker and socializing are always free, so come out and join in the fun.

Where: La Hacienda Mexican Restaurant, 1813 N. Fordham Blvd in Chapel Hill (around the corner from Border's Books)

October: A wine tasting is in the works for October's Evening Meeting event. Watch your e-mail for details; you won't want to miss this!
November: "Holiday Appetizers" is the theme of November's Evening Meeting. Local Chef Sheri Castlewill will walk us through some delicious ways to celebrate the holiday season. Bring your appetite!
